Steamed Cheese Brownies



It’s very easy to make this cake and no required long preparation. With generous sprinkling of grated cheese, it will make the cake very delicious. Chocolate/ Cocoa lover must be very like it, yummmm J

Preparation : 45 minutes
Level : easy

Ingredients : cup size +/-  200ml

1 1/4 cup, Flour
1 teaspoon, Baking powder (as developer)
1 teaspoon, Baking soda (as softener)
1 cup, Cocoa powder
1 cup, Sugar
1 cup, Fresh milk
1 cup, CANOLIVE oil
3 eggs, at room temperature, beaten well
1 cup, Grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)

Preparation:
Place the steamer over the stove in medium heat, pour with water according to the limit and boiled it.
In large bowl sieved together flour, baking powder and baking soda, set aside.
Mix the sugar, milk, CANOLIVE oil and cocoa powder in saucepan, place on the stove over low heat not much heat or even boiled. Stir it until the sugar granules into one, set aside and let it chill.


Add cooled cocoa mixture into the sieved flour, mix well until smooth using hand mixer in medium speed about 1 minute.


Then, add the beaten eggs stir well with hand mixer for another 1 minute.
Pour into a cake pan that has been greased with butter and flour.
Wrap the steamer lid with a piece a cloth to avoid the water drip into the cake batter.
Steam the batter about 30 minutes and insert a skewer into the middle of the cake, if it comes out clean the cake's ready, if not, just steam for a further 5 minutes and switch off the stove.

Quickly, sprinkle the cake with grated cheese evenly (do not removed from the steamer) and close it for about 2 minutes to make the cheese stick and cover all the cake surface perfectly.


Removed the cake that has been sprinkled with the cheese from the steamer, put in a plate and cut it into 8 slices or the size you desire. 


Steamed Cheese Brownies ready to be serve for all family with hot or cold beverages.
